Syria

CIM concentrates in Syria on the development policy priority area Water, as agreed between Syria and Germany. 

CIM is also working in Syria on one of the supraregional, cross-cutting themes of German Development Cooperation: private sector promotion and promotion of small and medium-sized enterprises.

With the Returning Experts Programme, CIM also supports Syrian experts returning to Syria after studying, undertaking vocational training or working in Germany. They work primarily in the health system.
