Palestinian Territories

CIM’s activities in the Palestinian Territories take place in the development policy priority areas agreed between the Palestinian Territories and Germany. These areas are:

• water
• economic reform  
• democracy, civil society and public administration.

Provided framework conditions continue to stabilise, an expansion of the present small programme is planned in order to respond to the considerable need for reform.

With the Returning Experts Programme, CIM also supports Palestinian experts returning to the Palestinian Territories after studying, undertaking vocational training or working in Germany. They work primarily as engineers, teachers or in the heath system.
