CIM’s strategic activities in Yemen are linked to the development policy priority areas agreed between Yemen and Germany. These areas are:

• water
• basic education

In addition CIM is active in the following sectors:

• health and family planning
• sustainable economic development
• energy 
• urban planning

CIM is working to intensify its cooperation, especially in the water sector.

Upon the special request of partners, CIM is also working in the environmental sector in Yemen, where it is backing the introduction of renewable energy sources.
