Ukraine

CIM’s strategic activities in Ukraine take place mainly in the development policy priority areas agreed between Ukraine and Germany. These areas are:

• economic promotion, particularly the promotion of small and medium-sized enterprises and vocational training
• promotion of agriculture and rural development  
• administrative reform
• energy efficiency. 

Ukraine is an important partner for CIM in Eastern Europe. CIM is working to intensify future cooperation in economic promotion, administrative reform and regional development.

In the Returning Experts Programme, CIM also supports Ukrainian experts who plan to return there after their studies, vocational training or work assignments in Germany.
