Croatia

CIM’s strategic activities in Croatia take place mainly in the development policy priority areas agreed between Croatia and Germany. These areas are:  

• supporting economic reform and development of the market system, with special focus on small and medium-sized enterprises and the tourism sector 
• training managers and  technical staff 
• expanding municipal infrastructure.

In the future, CIM will continue to expand cooperation on economic reform, development of the market system and expansion of municipal infrastructure. Central to this are measures to support Croatia’s adjustment to EU standards and possible accession to the EU.
