CIM concentrates in Kazakhstan mainly on the development policy priority area agreed between Kazakhstan and Germany: economic reform. Here cooperation with the German private sector in the framework of public-private partnerships is gaining increasing significance.

Additionally, CIM is engaged in Kazakhstan with these supraregional cross-sectoral themes of German Development Cooperation:

  • environmental protection and conservation of natural resources
  • the health system.
