CIM’s strategic activities in Bulgaria take place mainly in the development policy priority areas agreed between Bulgaria and Germany. These areas are:

• strengthening market economy structures and economic reform
• promotion of agriculture and forestry
• support for public administration.

CIM activities focus on support for German state institutions and authorities in order to facilitate speedy integration into the EU. Here CIM seeks primarily to support Bulgaria’s efforts at the regional and international level. Another important field of activities for integrated experts is collaboration in public administration reforms.
