Uganda

CIM’s strategic activities in Uganda take place mainly in the development policy priority areas agreed between Uganda and Germany. These areas are:

• financial sector development 
• urban water system reform
• vocational training.

CIM is working to intensify future cooperation, especially in urban water system reform and vocational training.

CIM is also active in Uganda in helping to combat HIV/AIDS, a cross-cutting theme of German Development Cooperation.

GIZ supports CIM in the implementation of its programme on the ground and cooperates closely with CIM experts in, for example, the GIZ’s programmes

• Promotion of Employment-Oriented Vocational Training
• Cooperative Project on Water Sector Development 
• Financial Systems Development.
