Namibia

CIM’s strategic activities in Namibia take place mainly in the development policy priority areas agreed between Namibia and Germany. These areas are:

• protection of natural resources and rural development 
• transport
• economic promotion.

CIM plans to expand cooperation in the areas of economic promotion, protection of natural resources and rural development. Because of recent developments in southern Africa, integrated experts are to give special support to land reforms that have been initiated in Namibia. CIM experts also continue to offer structural support and strategic advisory services in the priority area of transport.

GTZ supports CIM in implementation of its programmes on the ground and cooperates closely with CIM experts, e.g. in the transport sector.
