Conditions

State and parastatal institutions, non-governmental organisations, and private sector employers in our partner countries may all contact CIM to meet their human resources needs, provided that: 

• There is no one on site sufficiently qualified to fill the available position.
• Your institution plays a role in your country that is significant in terms of development policy.
• Your corporate goals harmonise with those of German Development Cooperation.

As the employer, you must be prepared to: 

• Enter into a local contract with the expert we recruit for you and pay him or her a salary that is appropriate by local standards.
• Offer your new employee the social and other benefits that are usual in your country. 
• Provide the expert with the equipment needed for the workplace and pay for any business trips that become necessary. 
• Provide support and assistance with the expert’s visa, residence and work permits and with customs clearance for his or her personal effects. 
• Pay a part of the international travel and transport expenses.
